[News] Reply 1997 : Crazy All Night 90s Party

TvN′s Reply 1997 will be reborn as a nostalgic old-school concert.

From the night of December 1 to early morning on December 2, tvN will be hosting the Reply 1997 All Night Party in Jamsil Lotte World.

Delispice, DJ DOC, UV, Eun Ji Won, Koyote, Tony An and a total of 20 teams will be singing onstage for the event to bring back the old days.

The event will be hosted by Boom.

The party will take place with a total of four different parts. The first part will involve getting into the mood with the OST for Reply 1997. Delispice, Yada′s Jeon In Hyuk, Jo Jang Hyuk, K2′s Kim Sung Myun and Hans Band will sing the hits from the drama.

For the second part, H.O.T. and Sechs Kies will be battling it out onstage. H.O.T.′s Tony An and Sechs Kies′ Eun Ji Won will mount the stage, while Gilme, Smash and Tyfoon sing the hits by the two groups.

In the third part, The One and UV will belt out a series of 90s hits, while in the last part DJ DOC and Koyote will bring back memories of clubs in the 90s with their crazy music.

The venue will be divided into standing areas instead of seats, and those who are there for the party can also enjoy all the rides in Lotte World. Tickets will be sold from 8 p.m. on November 7 through Interpark.

[NEWS] Infinite’s Hoya and Cast Thank Viewers for Watching ‘Reply 1997’

The 90s are finally over with the conclusion of tvN’s hit drama Reply 1997.

On September 18, tvN aired its last episode of Reply 1997, tying every knot and answering every question left on the viewers’ minds.

As the thank you message went up on the television screen, signaling the drama’s end, the cast members of the drama started giving thanks on their Twitters.

Infinite’s Hoya wrote, “Reply 1997 director Shin Won Ho and all of the staff, cast, and the viewers who loved, thank you so much!! I will never forget this for the rest of my life! ^^”

Lee Si Eon, who played the role of Bang Sung Jae, tweeted, “A very enjoyable and hot summer… A wonderful project made with wonderful people. I love you. Thank you. TT Thank you again. I hope to use the word, ‘actor’ a little bit more. Thank you. I love you. I will return with a better image. TT Thank you all for working hard.”

The official Twitter for Reply 1997 also posted a thank you message in English for its foreign viewers. “Reply 1997 is finally over. Thank you foreign viewers as well as Korean viewers! Hope u enjoyed this drama. ;) Good Night!”

[NEWS] Reply 1997 - SNL Korea

Jung Eun-ji and Seo In-gook were recent guests on Go Hyun-jung’s talk programGoShow, and now the cast will be hosting the upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live Korea.

According to articles, it’s not clear whether every cast member will be included, but Seo In-gook is for certain; here are a couple photos of him filming what must be an Answer Me parody. He’s pictured in high school uniform with SNL cast member Oh Cho-hee, who uploaded the pics to her me2day account. Eun Ji-won (Hak-chan) and Lee Shi-un(Sung-jae) are also confirmed.

SNL Korea just kicked off its new season this past weekend, so the Answer Me crew will be in the second episode, to air on September 15. The show used to structure itself into “seasons” (airing a bunch of episodes, taking some time off, then coming back with a new set), but now it’s secured a place on tvN’s permanent schedule as a fixed program.
